Freebase User Group meeting, April 16th

It’s that time again. We’re trying to hold these every second month and since the last one was in February that means we’re due for another in April.

The Freebase User Group is a chance to meet people who are using Freebase and hear presentations about what’s newest and most exciting in the Freebase world.

Last time we had talks from Kirsten Jones about FreeSpin, a Flash-based visualiser built on Freebase; Jamie Taylor on geodata; Toby Segaran on collective intelligence; Aaron Swartz on theinfo.org; Jason Douglas on some forthcoming community features on Freebase.com; and more. I can’t tell you yet what the topics will be this time round, but stay tuned as our speaker list firms up over the next few weeks.

As usual, the venue will be the Metaweb offices in San Francisco, and we’ll be providing food and drinks.

If you’re interested in attending, please RSVP at upcoming.org.
