Highlights
- New user homepage – now with a ‘new on freebase’ feed and other UI improvements. For more see the related blog post.
- New Schema editor – we’ve sped up the rendering and made the UI more intuitive – simplifying schema development. For more see the related blog post.
- Create new types and delegate properties from filter view – a brand new feature allowing schema modelers to reuse properties from other schemas. For more see the related blog post.
- A note on supported browsers – with the latest release we’ve dropped IE6 from the officially supported browser list due to low usage. The good news is that IE6 still basically works, but we can’t promise it will be bug free going forward. Instead, we’re going to focus on officially supporting Firefox 3 and Safari in the next couple of releases.

You weren’t kidding about the IE6. I have to use that on my work laptop due to compatibility issues with internal applications. The front page is pretty useless now. Guess I can’t partake in my freebase addiction while working anymore :)

Sad to hear that this isn’t working well for you. We hope to have support for more browsers again in the future… right now we’re running fast and furious trying to get new functionality out, but as things stabilize, we’ll see about making sure the pages at least render well in all major browser versions.
